Registration Information

Registration is on a rolling basis, but will close as soon as the conference is full. The number of participants is limited to 110. Therefore, we recommend that you register as early as possibly to guarantee your spot.

Conference fees include registration, hotel accommodations, and all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). They MUST be paid in FULL during the registration process.

Registration fee:
500.- CHF regular rate
250.- CHF reduced rate (MS and PhD students)
Included are conference attendance fee, abstract booklet, coffee breaks.

Lodging inclusive full board:
1000.- CHF (per person) for accommodation in single room
850.- CHF (per person) for accommodation in shared double room
Included are 5 nights (October 13 - 18, 2024) at Hotel Monte Verità or one of the surrounding hotels, all meals, as well as transfers to and from train station on arrival and departure days.

Important information:
There is a limited number rooms at the conference hotel. Therefore, sharing a bedroom with another participant will increase the possibilities of being booked at the conference site hotel. Please add "willing to share bedroom" in the comment box during registration. If you have a suggestion for sharing with someone, you can indicate that person's name in the comment box as well.
Each conference participant must pay the registration fee AND the full board and lodging fees at the same time through the online registration system.

Examples:
You're a PhD student, willing to share a room. Therefore, the amount you have to enter on the registration page is 1100 CHF (250 CHF plus 850 CHF).
Or you're a Postdoc and you prefer a single room, then you would enter 1500 CHF (500 CHF plus 1000 CHF). You will receive two emails, if the registation and payment were successful.

We will organize the booking of your accommodation for the period of the conference.
Extra pre- or post-conference nights are the responsibility of the participant and are not included in the above fees. Please contact us if you wish to book pre-/post-conference nights.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation must be communicated by email to the organizers. The date of the email counts as cancellation date. Refunds are possible as follows:

• Registration Fees - NOT refundable
• Full Board & Lodging Fees - as follows:
  • until 3 months prior to the beginning of the conference: 70% of the fees is refunded
  • from 3 months to 15 days prior to the beginning of the conference: 30% of the fees is refunded
  • from 15 days to the beginning of the conference: 10% of the fees is refunded
  • no show without cancellation notice: no refund.
• Refunds will be sent after the conference.

Liability:
The congress organizers cannot accept any liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to congress participants (or their accompanying persons), either during, or as a result of, the congress.
Registration or accommodation fees do not include insurance.

By registering and paying your fees, you accept all the above terms and conditions.
