Excursion

As one of the highlights of the "Quantum Physics with Trapped Particles" conference, we invite you to join us for a scenic excursion to discover the beautiful Lago Maggiore on Wednesday afternoon. This excursion promises to be a wonderful opportunity to engage with your fellow attendees and enjoy the spectacular scenery and surrounding mountains from the water.  

We are planning a boat trip from the port in Ascona to the Isole di Brissago, famous for their historic Villa Emden and the botanical gardens.  

The excursion will include a lakeside dinner at Villa Emden and return to Ascona by boat. 

There are two options:

• CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER - Departure at 15:20 - if you would like to join a guided tour of the grounds and botanical gardens on Isola di Brissago. We have spots for 50 participants, so please sign up with Barbara by Monday evening.
  
• STILL ON - Departure at 16:40 - if you prefer some down time in the afternoon, join the second group and arrive on the Isola in time for the conference dinner.

The departure time is from the conference center Monte Verità.
Alternatively, you can be at the port at 16:55, respectively. Please be prompt as the boat will depart on time.
